Warsaw Montessori School offers a Montessori based education programme for children age 6 -9 years old. The school has been designed with the needs of this age group in mind. English as well as Polish are the languages of instruction with internationally qualified staff. Montessori teachers recognise and encourage the uniqueness of each child and because of this the child engages in work that is suited to his own readiness and learning style. All aspects of the Polish school curriculum are covered as well as the Montessori elementary programme. Warsaw Montessori School offers a curriculum where children are given opportunities to explore and question in a child-centered enriched environment. The Montessori integrated curriculum is one of the major advantages of a Montessori education. The child discovers how concepts and real world experiences are interrelated through literature, science, art, nature, history and maths. The goal of the elementary programme is to educate a child for life and help him to develop a love of learning.
Warsaw Montessori School offers a specially designed garden and sports areas which enhance the child's learning experience with features such as an outdoor classroom where nature experiments can be conducted. The garden is divided into different types of terrestrial zones such as a rockery, an alpine zone and many more. It has a multi-purpose sports area which is used for tennis, baseball, football, etc. There is an indoor sports area which is the venue for activities such as rock climbing (with a climbing wall), yoga, aikido, ballet and drama, piano, flute, violine. All extra activities, including art, are taught by specialist teachers.
The school offers catered meals at school as well as transport to and from school.
